SmarTest is not on the Play Store yet, so Android will show you a couple of warnings on the way in. They are the standard prompts for any app installed outside the store — here is exactly what to expect.

This is the same build we submit to the stores, signed by us and served from api.smartest.ng. It updates itself in the background, so installing this way does not leave you on an old version.

Download the APK
The file is 129 MB, so use WiFi if you can. Your browser will ask you to confirm the download — that prompt is normal for any APK.

Allow this one install
Open the downloaded file. Android asks permission to install from your browser or Files app. Allow it — it applies to that one app, not to your whole phone.

Tap Install anyway
Play Protect may say the app is unrecognised. That means it has not been scanned on the Play Store yet, not that anything is wrong. Choose "More details" then "Install anyway".

Open SmarTest and pick your subjects
Download the subjects you need once, and the whole app works offline from then on — no data required to study.
